Alecia Hardwick of 76 Cherokee Avenue, Richland, Georgia passed away on December 4, 2009 at The Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Free Chapel Assembly of God, Richland, Georgia. The burial service will follow in Bethel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Richland, Georgia.

Alecia's life began in Stewart County, Georgia. She was born October 27, 1972 in Richland, Georgia to the parentage of Henry Clifford Hardwick and Carolyn Slaughter Hardwick. She departed this life December 4, 2009 at The Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia.

"Lisa", as she was called by everyone who knew her, attended Stewart County Schools and graduated from Hallie Turner School, Columbus, Georgia. She also attended Albany State College, Albany, Georgia. At the time of her death, she was enrolled as a student at American Intercontinental University in Los Angeles, California. At an early age, she joined New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Kimbrough, Georgia. Later, she joined Free Chapel Assembly of God, Richland, Georgia.

She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. Our loss here on earth is heaven's gain. She was a true angel here on earth, and now, she will truly have her wings.

Leaving to cherish her loving memories: a loving daughter, Ashley Hardwick of Richland, Georgia; a devoted father and mother, Henry Clifford and Carolyn Hardwick of Richland, Georgia; a devoted sister, Terri (Joel) Paige of Americus, Georgia; two brothers, Kenneth (Lisa Beth) Hardwick of Lumpkin, Georgia and Kelvin (Miscilla) Hardwick of Richland, Georgia; six aunts, Arcie Smith of Chicago, Illinois, Brindia Hardwick of Lumpkin, Georgia, Juanita Walton, Pearl Wright, Ethel Johnson, and Lillie Johnson of Richland, Georgia; four uncles, Willie M. (Bettye) Hardwick of Lumpkin, Georgia, S. William Hardwick of Chicago, Illinois, Clyde Johnson and Charlie Johnson of Richland, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, a devoted cousin, Pearl Binn of Richland, Georgia, other cousins, and friends.
