LIFE*S REFLECTIONS
Everything Has Its Time
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
A Time to Be Born:
Andrea was born on December 13, 1961 in Louvale, Georgia to the late Homer and Minnie Louise Ghant. Andrea, affectionately called *Sheila* by family members, was the eighth of ten siblings. Andrea attended John Peters Junior High School and Walton High School in Bronx, New York, and she was a 1980 graduate of Stewart-Quitman High School. Andrea confessed her life to Christ and became a member of the Church of Peace in Cusseta, Georgia.
A Time to Love:
Andrea was formerly married to Freddie Gardner and to this marriage two sons were born. Later in her life, she and Minister Isiah Lewis met, fell in love, and were united together in holy matrimony in May 21, 2008. To this union came a bonus blessing of a beautiful young daughter.
A Time to Plant:
Andrea was blessed with the birth of two sons, Courtney and Aaron. With a loving and giving heart, she will be remembered for being the mother of her nephew/son, Charles Michael, who was left motherless as an infant by the death of his mother.
A Time to Die:
On Saturday, March 20, 2010, from her bed of affliction, God called His servant home to rest. Her beautiful smile, warm, caring, and loving spirit will be a loss to all who was blessed to have met her. Andrea's parents, Homer and Minnie Louise Ghant, and her two oldest sisters, Ruby Pearson and Geraldine Ghant, preceded her in death.
A Time to Remember:
Andrea leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Minister Isiah Lewis of Cusseta, Georgia, three sons, Courtney (Viola Rena) of Columbus, Georgia, Aaron (Kennetra) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Charles Michael (Darrell) of Columbus, Georgia; one daughter, Jasmyne Lewis of Cusseta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Linda Sneed, Shonobious, Kaviah, and C*Andrea Gardner of Columbus, Georgia; four sisters, Mattie Kate Short and Mary (Sam) McFolley of Columbus, Georgia, Billie Robinson of Harlem, New York, and Debra Ghant of Staten Island, New York; three brothers, Roger (Lois) Ghant and Lonzia Ted (Theresa) Ghant of Columbus, Georgia, and Henry Mac (Bobbi) of Columbus, Ohio; (Two siblings preceded her in death, Ruby Pearson and Geraldine Robinson; two aunts, Jessie Ghant of Columbus, Georgia and Mary Ruth Thomas of Ft.
