Harvey Lee Murray

Mr. Harvey Lee Murray of Rte. 1 Box 7, Richland, Georgia, passed away on May 12, 2010 at The Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Brooklyn, Georgia. The burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Cusseta, Georgia.

Harvey Lee Murray entered this world on November 7, 1945 to Annie Mae Harvey Murray and Wilburn Murray. He departed this life on May 12, 2010 at The Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia.

He spent his childhood in the St. James community and became a member of St. James Baptist Church in August 1959. He served as a faithful member of St. James until his passing.

Other than his parents, one brother, Willie Clyde Murray and one sister, Andrea Ghant Lewis, preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish precious memories: his wife, Earlene Murray; one daughter, Brenda Murray; a stepdaughter, Felicia Murray; two sons, Milton (Monica) Murray and Gregory Murray; four grandchildren, Diamond Murray, Monea Murray, Milton Murray, Jr., and Gregory Murray, Jr.; one brother, Wilburn Murray; three sisters, Annie L. (John) Radney, Jennifer Murray, and Silvia Ghant; one uncle, Artie C. Murray; one aunt, Bertha Wilson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, a devoted cousin, Loretta Thomas, other cousins, a devoted friend, Dora Robinson, and other friends.
