Mrs. Leatha Mae Baldwin of 2158 Holder Road, Lumpkin, Georgia, passed away on July 16, 2010 at Stewart-Webster Hospital, Richland, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at God's Powerhouse A.M.E. Church, 10787 Georgia Highway 27 W., Lumpkin, Georgia. The burial service will follow at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Surles Street, Lumpkin, Georgia.
Mrs. Leatha Mae Johnson Baldwin passed from this life early Friday afternoon, July 16, 2010, at Stewart-Webster Hospital, Richland, Georgia.
Mrs. Baldwin was a life-long resident of Stewart County. She was born on January 22, 1936 in Richland, GA to Mary E. Johnson and Tommie L. Moses. At an early age, she joined the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Rev. Eugene Baldwin. As a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, she committed and supported of her husband*s ministry and work in the community. Mrs. Baldwin chose to affiliate herself with a number of congregations that her husband pastored. This included the I Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshipped, until her health began to fail.

(Katie) Baldwin, College Park, GA, Mr. Lawrence E. (Gwendolyn) Baldwin, Roswell, GA, and Mrs. Karen D. (Lewis) Callaway, Ellenwood, GA; grandchildren, William K. (Joann) Johnson, Jill D. (Daniel) Anderson, Pamela E. (Darryl) Jones, Traci D. (Marcus) Banks, Jonathan B. Baldwin, Jordan L. Baldwin, David P. Baldwin, Kristian E. Baldwin, Jeremy A. Callaway, and Jared A. Callaway; great-grandchildren, Tanaisha Clark, JaMeia (Rahsaan) Ruch, Jeremiah A. Anderson, and Kaelyn E. Martin; siblings, Ms. Pauline Williams, Cleveland, OH, Mrs. Doris Tarver and Mrs. Willie Ann (King) Robinson, Richland, GA, and Mr. Tommie L. Moses, Jr., Atlanta, GA; brother-in-law, Mr. Larry (Carolyn) Lewis; sister-in-law, Mrs. Sherry (Theodore) Forrest; a beloved friend, Mrs. Doris Powell, Lumpkin, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
