Mr. Will George Getter, Sr., also known as, "Larry Lester", passed away in Fayetteville, North Carolina on August 25, 2010.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. at T.V. Williams Funeral Home Chapel, 233 Milliken Avenue, Richland, Georgia. The burial will follow in Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lumpkin, Georgia.

Mr. Will George Getter, Sr. (Larry Lester), son of the late Eva Mae Miller was born in Stewart County, Lumpkin, Georgia on November 11, 1949.
He passed away on August 25, 2010 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. His mother, father, and grandparents preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ at a young age at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Lumpkin, Georgia. He served in the military and fought in the Vietnam War.
Will Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Will (Janice) Getter, Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama; two daughters, Melissa Getter (a long term friend, Craig Glenn) of Columbus, Georgia and Manicka Getter (a long term friend, RoShawn Patterson) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Chree', Telisha, Antwan, Ta'keisha, Myleka, NaMiya, and Emmanuel; one brother, Polly Lester of Columbus, Georgia; one sister, Mae D. (Tommy) Jones of Lumpkin, Georgia; and a host of cousins and friends.
